"Australian Trades in Crisis"
The number of young Australians applying for trade apprenticeships has dropped by more than 20 percent, further adding to the skills shortage crisis. Figures released by the National Centre for Vocational Education Research show a 21.9 percent drop in people starting trades in the March quarter compared to last year.
