Club Membership is FREE for any
Filipino Workers who are currently sponsored by an Australian
company on a 457 Visa. Joining the Club is easy and only requires
the Internet.
The purpose of the FLB Filipino Workers Club is:-
- to
keep Club Members informed about any changes to immigration
conditions and rules that may be introduced by the Australian
Government that affect 457 visa holders and their employment in
Australia,
- to
assist the Philippines Overseas Labour Office (in Canberra) with
the relocation of retrenched or terminated Filipino workers by
building a register of existing Australian sponsor companies for
potential employee transfer,
- to
provide a networked community for Filipino workers to share their
experiences with other Filipinos working in the same industries,
and
- to
facilitate social interaction between all Filipino workers in
Australia.
